Satisfying My Deep Need to Complain

I'm kind of back! There are still quite a number of RL things going on, but I'll probably be able to find the time to update once or twice a week.

Just a quick update: I adopted the Douglas Coupland fanlisting, which is now found here. I also updated my projects page to better reflect what's coming up in the next few months- basically a huge Berserk project, because it's the most epic series EVER and not just in manga.

I have a ton of RL stuff to settle all of a sudden, so the network will be on a short break. I'm not sure when it will end- I will do periodic updates when I get the time, but I can't promise the weekly updates for a while.

I will still be maintaining Stuck In A Moment, though, so don't let this stop you from joining.

I spent the morning doing a thorough revamp of Traumerei's shrine section. I have 2 pages to further expand and 4 more to 'completion', but I'm rather proud of what I got done today- information has been sectioned off for clearer organization and pictures have been added for the pretties, hurrah. At this rate I'll be able to finish what I initially planned out for Traumerei by end May so look out for it. ;)

I also got Stuck In A Moment up and added to my list of sites, so go join if you haven't already!

I'm in the midst of brainstorming my next project so I'll add that to the list if I manage to finish planning stage in the next few days.

Things to be done by next week (latest 25/5):
- Complete 2 more pages on Traumerei

wijnruitORG just had a complete makeover. It now features an extremely messy layout with lots of text, just the way I like it. ;) I liked the previous layout too much to just trash it after only a couple of weeks, so I integrated it into the linkage page. Spiffy, eh?

I also volunteered to run Stuck In A Moment, an old-series layout marathon currently held at aflORG, so I've added that on my ever-effective 'things-to-do' list.

Hurrah, done yet again. I'm making good time, so here's a list of what I got done this last week:

- Completed In Revolution, the Adam Lambert fanlisting. Go take a gander and join if you're a fan!
- Added two sections for Traumerei; namely brief overview and the relevance of butterflies.
- Makeover for The Law of Unintended Consequences
- Makeover for Looks Just Like The Sun

My current priority is to get the Traumerei minishrine up to a decent level within the next couple of weeks- I also gave my next project some thought. What I'm really aiming for in the (hopefully near) future is a Spike Spiegel shrine that I can be truly proud of, seeing as he is my favourite fictional character of all time (yes, in all mediums.) The flipside is that I will probably never think I'm up to that level, so hulloooo procrastination!

Currently what I have in mind is to practise both my graphic designing and writing skills on another shrine while concurrently working on my Spike tribute backstage. This way I'd hopefully get started on Spike while not having to publish unpolished work to show I'm actually up off my ass, and as a bonus have a sweet little dedication on the side.

I'm thinking of a lesser-known minor character such as Umeda Hokuto from Hanakimi, or Asagi from Basara. I'll decide by the time I complete Traumerei, I suppose. Oh, and I almost forgot-

Things to be done in the next week (latest 22/05):
- 3 more Traumerei pages (I realise I always do the minimum, so forget the 'at least'.)
- Facelift wijnruit.org in the favour of something more appropriate.
- Complete layout + information for Stuck In A Moment, an old-series animanga layout marathon.

'Twas a good week for me, I got everything I planned done and with three days to spare!

Traumerei has 3 pages up in the shrine section and I re-made passable codes (for once), wORG is somewhat legible and Looks Just Like The Sun, the Mirror's Edge fanlisting, is up and running. This list thing seems to be pretty effective, so here goes:

Things to be done in the next week (latest 17/05):
- Complete Adam Lambert fanlisting+basic info
- At least 2 more pages on Traumerei
- Actually PICK a topic and start planning out a shrine

Yes, it is a lazy week but I might be getting my first shifts at my part-time job so I'm factoring that in. I also need to stop applying for fanlistings; the only one I actually intended to do content for was Yuuko. The other three (PA, Mcninja and ME) didn't have existing fanlistings and I really felt they deserved one so I succumbed. Oh well...

Alrighty, I've decided to create a network update blog up so things will be a little more organized and hopefully I will be a bit more motivated to get stuff done.

This is a quick list of my intentions for the network:

- Get photoblog up
- Complete Adam Lambert fanlisting

Things I really want to do but lack inspiration/time/whatever excuses I'm making up:
A Spike Spiegel shrine.
